Cinnamon & Cayenne Chocolate Balls

These Cinnamon and Cayenne Chocolate Balls are bold, bite-sized bursts of energy — sweet, spicy, and naturally satisfying. Perfect for powering through your day or kicking cravings to the curb, they’re quick to make and even quicker to disappear.

 

Ingredients

  • 100g pitted dates (about 10 dates)

  • 20g cacao powder

  • 35g crushed almonds

  • 2 tbsp rice malt syrup

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Pinch of cayenne

  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Chop dates into small, rough pieces.

  2. In a large bowl, add half of the cacao. Then add crushed almonds, dates, rice malt syrup, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt.

  3. From this mixture, form the balls in the palm of your hand. Finish each ball by rolling in the remaining cocoa, and place aside.

  4. Refrigerate to keep shape. Balls will last roughly 1 week if refrigerated.
