Replated and reseasoned: Just Food Collective’s subtle new look

If you've been poking around our site lately, you may have noticed something fresh on the menu: our logo’s been replated and reseasoned. It’s serving up a familiar flavour with a new twist.

Just Food Collective's new logo superimposed on a flag

Although it looks a little different, its meaning hasn’t changed, our mark is still inspired by the bird’s-eye view of an agricultural field. This is because, as food systems experts, we take a holistic perspective on food justice. Green rows stretch across the field, forming the letters J and F, tracing the restoration and renewal we strive for in every part of the food system.

As our work has grown, it was time to refresh our logo. We’ve simplified the shapes, refined the lines, and removed extra texture so it reads clearly across screens, print, and all other media. The update makes the logo more versatile, legible, and accessible, while staying true to the design you already know. We’ve also added the word Collective to the logo, simply because that’s who we are.

This fresh update will carry us forward as we keep doing what we’ve always done. You’ll see the new logo rolling out in the weeks to come. We’re excited for the next course we will be serving with our fresh new logo.
